This is a special spiral pipe welding system designed for producing steel sleeves used in color-coated steel coils. These sleeves typically have a diameter of 508-610mm, wall thickness of 3-6mm, and a length ranging from 700-1200mm. Initially, paper tubes were used, later replaced by steel tubes. Early production involved manual operations with plate bending machines and seam welding, which was inefficient. Now, the spiral pipe method is widely used, offering features like internal and external seam polishing for a smooth surface to protect the coated material. It also utilizes specialized rotary cutting equipment for precise cutting of short lengths. Additionally, with the advancement of laser welding technology, some users are opting for it over traditional TIG welding, as it offers higher speed and better quality, though with higher initial investment.
